The Center for Development and Disability (CDD), established in 1990, is New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. These centers, authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, build the capacities of states and communities to respond to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. WE ARE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION FROM ALL STUDENTS REGARDLESS OF WORK STUDY AWARD Early Childhood Home and Family Services (ECHFS) at CDD consists of a cluster of direct service and home visiting programs servicing high-risk families and young children. ECHFS is seeking a student employee to work 15-20 hours per week, M-F 8am-5pm at the CDD office, to assist in a variety of program and administrative tasks and projects. The student will work across a variety of programs in the ECHFS Division however the main program supported will be the Early Childhood Evaluation Program (ECEP). ECEP provides diagnostic and assessment services for concerns of developmental delay, complex medical conditions, autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, and behavioral/regulatory issues very young children from birth to age three living in New Mexico.
