Requirements

  • Utilizing critical thinking skills, the incumbent analyzes sales performance, tracks results, and identifies sales opportunities for the Division Manager’s account base.
  • Performs analytical project work on an ad hoc basis requiring the ability to make recommendations on goal development.
  • Prepares sales reports using data from the business analytics and goal tracking systems to track current and prior quota/sales progress.
  • Extracts and manipulates data, and formats reports as requested by sales management.
  • Completes all necessary training programs by attending, participating, and passing all required training programs as defined by management. (e.g. Compliance, DIVER, JDE, MS Applications).

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes sales results and offers recommendations to sales management to drive better goal writing and attainment.
  • Maintains goal tracking system in Enterprise system for their sales group, and provides daily/weekly updates and supporting Division Manager’s evaluation of monthly quotas and programs.
  • Interacts with Division Manager, FSM, Sales Reps, Empire administrative staff, Suppliers and Customers to identify opportunities to positively impact overall business and offer recommendations to resolve problems.
  • Develops and populates sales templates with pertinent data and collaborates with Division Managers and/or FSMs to identify business needs and design appropriate, replicable reports.
  • Prepares materials for Divisional meetings, supplier planning meetings and/or Division Managers & FSMs by aggregating internal sales data, tracking results on key programs and communicating/identifying volume/distribution gaps at all levels and other informational needs.
  • Assists in administering the development of sales quotas and/or forecasts for monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals based on the division’s assigned goals and sales territory performance.
  • Completes all necessary training programs by attending, participating, and passing all required training programs as defined by management. (e.g. Compliance, DIVER, JDE, MS Applications).
  • Assists in performing user acceptance testing on systems when needed.
  • Maintains customer and supplier confidence by keeping appropriate information confidential.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
