About The Position

The Diversion Control Investigator supports the Diversion Control Program through investigative research and other duties, as assigned. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the Diversion Control Program by conducting thorough investigations and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The investigator will work with various departments and external regulators to uphold the company's commitment to improving lives.

Requirements

  • Broad training in fields such as criminal justice, business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Minimum 3 years of industry related experience.
  • Excellent organization and administrative skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the implementation and operation of the Diversion Control Program.
  • Conducts investigative research via the Internet and public record databases.
  • Conducts Customer Due Diligence (DD) and Suspicious Order Monitoring (SOM) Investigations.
  • Monitors and adjusts customer OMP parameters, according to Diversion Control Program policy, as required.
  • Acts as liaison and maintains contact with Sales and Customer Maintenance departments regarding diversion control concerns, as necessary.
  • Acts as liaison with distribution center compliance teams.
  • Generates and reviews statistical data on a monthly basis, as directed.
  • Assists with DC pre-audit preparation and interviews with state and federal regulators.
  • Assists with targeted, on-site pharmacy visits, as assigned.
  • Assists with internal associate training on the Diversion Control Program to other ABC business units, as assigned.
  • Thoroughly organizes and documents all investigative and due diligence process results for future retrieval pursuant to the request of regulatory authorities.
  • Collaborates with peers and directors to work through duties and expectations.
  • Documents all work in a timely and organized fashion for future retrieval purposes.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Performs related duties, as assigned.
