Requirements

  • Working knowledge of SAS/Montco/Philly/ TCY policy and procedures.
  • Ability to facilitate monthly SAS VIP workshops in Philly and Montco.
  • Ability to teach job readiness and administer assessments TCY Philly/Montco.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with JEVS Human Services staff.
  • Participation in program, supervisory, unit, and division meetings.
  • Ability to structure and facilitate SAS Philly/Montco VIP monthly VIP workshops.
  • Ability to provide Soft Skills and Job readiness instruction to TCY Philly/Montco clients, including those with Limited English Proficiency or whose primary language is not English.
  • Proficiency in delivering and managing interactive experiential learning activities using the JEVS 21st Century Skills Soft Skills curriculum.
  • Knowledge of group dynamics and facilitation techniques (ice breakers, individual exercises, break-out designs).
  • Ability to ensure timely and accurate completion of résumés and applications.
  • Skill in promoting client participation and providing rewards/recognition.
  • Proficiency in documenting client contacts and maintaining accurate records (attendance, program data) in the JEVS ECM database.
  • Ability to meet regularly with the team and collaborative partners to plan activities, discuss client progress, and evaluate program intervention.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a working knowledge of SAS/Montco/Philly/ TCY policy and procedures.
  • Facilitate monthly SAS VIP workshops in Philly and Montco.
  • Teach job readiness, administer assessments TCY Philly/Montco
  • Effectively communicate with other JEVS Human Services staff, exhibiting teamwork, and collaboration.
  • Participate in program meetings, supervisory meetings, unit meetings and division meetings on an ongoing basis
  • Structure and Facilitate SAS Philly/Montco VIP monthly VIP workshops
  • Provide Soft Skills and Job readiness instruction to TCY Philly/Montco clients (including clients with Limited English Proficiency and/or whose primary language is not English) of an VIP program.
  • Through the utilization of the JEVS 21st Century Skills Soft Skills curriculum design, deliver and manage interactive experiential learning activities in a classroom environment.
  • Utilize knowledge of group dynamics and facilitation techniques including ice breakers, individual exercises, and break-out designs
  • Ensure résumés and applications are completed timely and accurately.
  • Promote clients’ active participation in all classroom activities; provide client reward and recognition.
  • Document all contacts with clients and maintain accurate and timely records of attendance and other pertinent program data. Input data into JEVS ECM database
  • Meet regularly with the team (including collaborative partners, research organization, probation and parole officers) to plan activities, discuss client progress, and evaluate program intervention at key intervals.
