Position Overview: Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director (think of them as your strategic co-pilot), you will be the engine driving profitable revenue growth and client obsession across your district. You won't just manage; you'll ignite potential. You will be responsible for building, leading, and inspiring a high-performing team of Design Consultants who excel at both converting company-provided quality appointments and becoming entrepreneurial rockstars by generating their own high-value leads. Requirements

  • Demonstrated, infectious passion for mentoring and developing sales employees into top performers.
  • Ability to seamlessly transition between leading in the field and working remotely to execute strategy.
  • Sharp, effective, and persuasive communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • 5+ years of successful experience leading, motivating, and growing a highly dynamic, aggressive outside/in-home sales team.
  • Verifiable history of consistently meeting and exceeding challenging sales objectives.
  • Understanding that top performance requires flexible hours for high-impact evening and weekend events.
  • High energy, strong work ethic, contagious enthusiasm, and the ability to coach and mentor others.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team of Design Consultants.
  • Drive profitable revenue growth and client obsession across the district.
  • Coach and mentor Design Consultants to excel at converting company-provided appointments and generating their own leads.
  • Own the district's budget and sales targets, focusing on close rate, average order size, and service recovery.
  • Engage in daily, high-impact interactions with DCs to drive individual sales and marketing activity.
  • Lead weekly team meetings and training sessions focused on sales techniques and product mastery.
  • Continuously educate the team on products, service innovations, and promotions.
  • Coach and incentivize DCs to become self-generating lead machines.
  • Utilize Key Performance Metrics (KPMs) for personalized coaching.
  • Motivate and empower the team to capture sales opportunities through networking, partnerships, client relationships, and community canvassing.
  • Identify emerging client markets and collaborate on strategies to dominate them.
  • Partner with the marketing department to execute programs that maximize self-generated lead returns.
  • Continuously prospect, recruit, and retain an aggressive, ambitious, and actively engaged team of Design Consultants.
  • Hit sales hiring goals by partnering with the recruiting team.
  • Build, foster, and maintain a culture defined by success, recognition, continuous learning, and winning together.
  • Conduct performance and business reviews and take corrective action when required.
