About The Position

The District Sales Manager will champion the direct sales effort in the assigned territory (ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI, PA, NJ, DE, MD, WV, KY, VA). This role involves working with the regional team to map and manage the customer base via CRM, generating direct sales, and developing customers within the specified territory. The position also requires generating and facilitating rental leads for all products, training customers and other personnel on product lines, and attending regional sales meetings. Additionally, the District Sales Manager will attend and coordinate regional and national trade shows, recommend new product changes and ideas, meet sales objectives, and supply forecasting information monthly. The role includes submitting monthly accomplishment and expense reports, developing and maintaining competitive manufacturer's profiles, and reporting on their activity monthly. A key aspect of this role is ensuring all business conducted is consistent with the company's mission statement and ethical practices. The position requires willingness and ability to travel 75%, mostly overnight, and perform other related functions as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must have at least (3) three years capital equipment sales experience.
  • Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrate computer literacy.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • High degree of initiative, enthusiasm and motivation required.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work under time restraints and manage costs and resources required.

Responsibilities
