Sales planning involves developing short and long-term business goals, seeking information on products, competitive intelligence, and analyzing customer needs. The role also coordinates with other sales professionals to demonstrate and sell equipment and technology, proactively discussing solutions, explaining benefits, and communicating financial advantages. Customer relations are key, requiring effective responses to queries, problem-solving, and holding client relationship meetings to monitor satisfaction. The position includes managing direct reports, encompassing hiring, development, performance management, and ensuring adherence to company policies and code of conduct.
