About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented District Manager to join our dynamic team. As the District Manager, you will be responsible for managing and guiding our outside sales representatives in achieving sales goals and driving business growth. Your leadership skills, industry knowledge, and ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members will be instrumental in driving our sales force's success. Experience in the Roofing Industry is required to be considered.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in outside sales in the roofing industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a team of sales professionals and achieving sales targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of roofing products, services, and industry-specific sales techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and delegate tasks appropriately.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to streamline processes and analyze performance.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of outside sales representatives in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Provide regular coaching, training, and feedback to enhance their productivity and overall performance.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Analyze market trends, evaluate competitive landscape, and identify new opportunities to expand our customer base.
  • Set clear sales objectives for the team and track their progress on a regular basis.
  • Prepare accurate sales reports and forecasts, providing insights into sales performance, market trends, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, builders, and other stakeholders in the industry.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs, address concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance sales processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement tools and resources that enable the sales team to operate effectively and track progress.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Utilize this knowledge to proactively identify market needs and determine appropriate sales strategies.
