As a District Sales Manager, you will play a key role in presenting our customers with a consultative, relationship-focused approach -- one that will make their food service businesses thrive. This position will reside in : Springfield, IL

Requirements

Four or more years of previous sales or business experience.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, including profitability models.
Ability to work evening and weekend hours.
Maintaining a valid, unrestricted state driver's license and a safe driving record.
If applicable, must participate in the company vehicle reimbursement program and maintain required insurance levels.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of high-performing, results-driven outside sales representatives.
Hire, develop, and retain staff, creating robust succession plans and developing the next generation of leaders.
Identify goals and objectives, provide regular and candid feedback through evaluations or coaching sessions.
Develop sales targets for individual sales representatives.
Understand areas of customer focus, including Sales Building, Staffing, Profitability, and Compliance.
Engage with the Industry by visiting key existing and future customers.
Learn how to lead following the Servant Leadership model/framework.
Participate in food shows, regional customer events, customer segment shows, and customer trips to headquarters to maintain visibility with customers, segments, or associations.
