About The Position

The District Parts and Service Specialist is an inside support role remotely based, responsible for strengthening parts and service performance, dealer engagement, and customer support within an assigned portfolio of small to mid-sized dealerships. This role serves as a primary point of contact for assigned dealers from a parts and service perspective, providing proactive outreach, issue resolution support, program reinforcement, and performance coaching through virtual and phone-based engagement. In partnership with District Parts and Service Managers, District Managers, Product Service Managers, Aftermarket Parts, and other internal support teams, the District Parts and Service Specialist ensures consistent execution of parts and service programs, identifies dealer capability gaps, supports service readiness, and helps improve the dealer customer experience. The role builds foundational knowledge of dealer operations, parts performance, service support, and channel expectations while supporting career development toward broader field or dealer-facing roles within the organization. Relocation may be required over time to support upward mobility and continued career progression within the organization.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in product support, dealer support, customer support, parts and service operations, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage dealers through phone, virtual platforms, and written follow-up.
  • Customer-focused mindset with sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to help resolve issues with urgency and clarity.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret dealer performance data, customer feedback, service trends, and parts-related insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems; ability to learn and navigate internal reporting, case management, parts, and service tools.
  • Self-motivated, performance-driven, highly organized, and able to manage multiple dealer priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in construction, agricultural, industrial equipment, dealership operations, parts operations, service support, or channel-based business models preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude, equipment troubleshooting exposure, or technical service knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary inside parts and service contact for an assigned portfolio of small to mid-sized dealers, providing regular outbound outreach, virtual support, and timely follow-through.
  • Identify dealer support needs, open issues, capability gaps, and performance opportunities; coordinate escalation to field, technical, or internal support resources when needed.
  • Partner with District Sales Managers to align dealer follow-up, district priorities, and support plans for the assigned portfolio.
  • Reinforce parts and service programs, promotions, policies, campaigns, and dealer communications to drive consistent dealer execution.
  • Support dealer questions related to parts availability, service processes, warranty or policy guidance, program utilization, onboarding expectations, and escalation pathways.
  • Coordinate with Aftermarket Parts, Parts Customer Service, Product Service Managers, Technical Support, Warranty, Training, and other internal teams to resolve dealer needs efficiently.
  • Coach dealers on parts and service processes, customer follow-up, issue documentation, communication expectations, and service experience standards.
  • Connect dealers to training resources, tools, field support, virtual sessions, or internal subject matter experts based on identified needs and portfolio priorities.
  • Support dissatisfied customer situations, survey follow-up, and complaint resolution by documenting concerns, coordinating next steps, and communicating recurring themes.
  • Capture dealer and customer feedback and share insights with internal teams to improve parts and service support.
  • Use internal systems, reporting, dealer scorecards, and customer feedback to identify parts and service trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Translate performance insights into clear recommendations for dealers, District Sales Managers, and internal business partners.
  • Track open issues, dealer commitments, and follow-up actions to ensure timely closure and sustained improvement.
  • Build knowledge of Bobcat products, dealer operations, parts programs, service processes, and customer support expectations through hands-on, virtual, and cross-functional learning.
  • Participate in field shadowing, dealer visits, training, and dealer events to prepare for broader dealer-facing or field-based roles.
