About The Position

As a Part-Time Marketing Representative, you will assist in creating, implementing, and executing Company sales and marketing policies. In this role you will: Acquire knowledge in warehousing, counter sales, customer service, and sales procedures to develop an understanding of how each area of business interacts to serve the Company's customers; acquire information as needed to understand Company sales and promotion and contest activities. Participate in a variety of marketing logistics, including event production through both scheduling and shipping and collateral coordination with internal and external business partners. Create, enhance, analyze, and track marketing materials that promote sales, making recommendations for local modifications. Prepare market analysis for branch use, including but not limited to running reports, preparing graphs, trend analysis, and research through various internal and external contacts on the electrical and CommData markets. Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge by attending educational workshops and classes, reviewing related publications, and networking. Maintain customer mailing lists.

Requirements

  • No experience required
  • Knowledge of marketing concepts
  • Knowledge of supply chain management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and marketing specific applications
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Occasional travel required

Nice To Haves

  • 4 year degree in marketing and sales preferred
  • Completion of an internship in marketing or sales preferred
