About The Position

Lead Claims Operations and Drive Growth Across Central Pennsylvania! This is a Hybrid role, involving work from home and driving. The District Manager provides direction and supervision to adjusters and other district support staff, recruits, selects, orients, hires, coaches, counsels, disciplines and evaluates performance of district employees. They assign work ensuring a balanced workload for employees in the Service Center, set district objectives, and monitor and appraise employee performance. The role involves communicating and enforcing ethical business practices and compliance with laws and regulations, maintaining product quality through compliance with service standards and client instructions, and handling escalations. The District Manager monitors open case inventory, ensures proper and timely closing and billing of files, and completes file re-inspections and audits. They establish and oversee clear objectives for all district staff regarding open case inventory, closing, and billing to meet business unit Days Sales Outstanding objectives. The role also involves monitoring accounts receivable for positive cash flow and minimizing aged accounts receivable, monitoring and improving the efficiency of district operations, establishing market presence, and identifying revenue opportunities. The District Manager is responsible for the development of a sales plan, coordinating local sales efforts with national and regional sales plans, making sales calls on potential and existing clients, and directing sales solicitation activities. They uphold and project the corporate image by participating in industry organizations and functions, evaluate and recommend continuing professional education for district personnel, and maintain personnel records and approve salary adjustments. The District Manager upholds the Crawford Code of Business Conduct at all times and participates in special projects or performs duties in other areas as requested.

Requirements

• 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
• 5+ years of insurance-related experience
• Strong business development, team management, and operational leadership skills
• Ability to build client relationships and drive revenue growth
• College degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8 years of experience delivering services and supervising the delivery of services offered by the district; previous management experience desirable.

• Additional courses may be required by jurisdiction for maintenance of license.
