About The Position

As a District Manager, your primary responsibility will be to provide a professional first impression to all customers. You will ensure compliance with contract specifications and respond to customer requests and complaints. You will plan, direct, or coordinate the governance activities of commercial and industrial projects. You may also perform or assist with cleaning duties, as necessary.

Requirements

  • Janitorial experience required.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Microsoft Office applications experience, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Labor & supplies budgeting experience
  • Previous P & L responsibility
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
  • Must be willing to travel – 50% travel within 100 miles
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
  • Reliable Transportation.

  • Facility Management experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to negotiate management and service contracts, determine priorities, and discuss the staffing and operational status of each project.
  • Manage and oversee operations, maintenance, administration, and improvement of commercial, and industrial projects.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of businesses or department concerned with the production, pricing sales, or distribution of services.
  • Direct administrative activities directly related to providing services.
  • Direct or coordinate financial or budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed budgets and financial reports for the projects.
  • Review financials, sales or activity report or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement.
  • Develop new revenue streams and sales opportunities
  • Work closely with the Sales Team and analyze information, evaluating results to choose the best solutions and solve problems.
  • Participate in walk throughs and presentations
  • Review all related reports including monthly P & L, staffing, timecards, overtime, etc.
  • Visit accounts on a regular basis and organize facility maintenance or repair activities.
  • Communicate proactively and timely with upper management on important issues
  • Partner closely with HR regarding recruitment and utilize for support
  • Communicate with team members and identify who can be developed
  • Ensure all team members are trained and understand how they fit in the company
  • Ensure that the customer is satisfied.
  • Be able and willing to be coached, learn on a regular basis as well as open to change and providing new and innovative ideas.
  • Comply with social distancing requirements and safety guidelines.
  • Wear LCS provided apparel and personal protective equipment, when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
