About The Position

We are seeking a District Manager to lead at least 15 store teams across an assigned area. This role is crucial for driving the success and profitability of stores, ensuring outstanding customer service, and maintaining a safe, compliant work environment. The District Manager will oversee merchandising, operations, and expense control programs, while also leading, coaching, and mentoring store managers to achieve business objectives. A key aspect of the role involves fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment, recruiting, hiring, and developing store managers to build high-performing teams. The manager will be responsible for driving sales, profitability, and expense management to meet company goals, implementing established processes for operational consistency, and promoting a culture of safety and compliance through regular audits. Managing operational budgets, optimizing store performance, and ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment are also critical. The position requires championing a customer-first mindset across the district and involves up to 50% travel with occasional overnight stays to support and oversee store operations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Valid Driver’s License is required
  • At least 5 years retail experience with at least 2 years of multi-store experience is required
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills along with the ability to build an effective team is required
  • Ability to analyze, organize and present information and focus on results is required
  • Strong business acumen and communication skill are required
  • Human resources and asset protection skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Process management skills
  • Ability to work in Microsoft Office is required
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height is required
  • Ability to handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
