About The Position

Responsible for the day-to-day management of a wireline business. This position involves financial oversight, logistics and inventory management, supervision, and leadership of the service managers, technical staff, operations, and sales personnel. This person must have an exceptional understanding of all services provided by his assigned base. Must be able to manage the financial results (P&L) of a multi-million dollar business, keep the local team engaged and on track, upper management informed, and clients satisfied at all times. All jobs within Horizontal Wireline Services must be executed safely and per all regulatory and company-specific Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must have a proven leadership history
  • Five years of field wireline experience
  • Minimum of two years of wireline management, including profit and loss responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent analytic skills
  • Self-motivation
  • Computer proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a team-orientated environment
  • Thorough understanding of customer requirements and needs and market conditions
  • Good business acumen
  • Strong negotiating skillset
  • Walk short distances, sometimes over uneven terrain
  • Must be able to comply with all external and internal processes with background checks
  • Must be willing to work an on-call schedule
  • Able to work in changing climate conditions
  • Must be able to dispatch to a job site when needed
  • Routinely lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • Sit, speak or listen actively for extended periods of time
  • Possess full use of both hands to feel or manipulate objects, tools, or controls
  • Perform an extended reach with arms to manipulate objects, tools, or controls
  • Perform manual work requiring periods of extensive physical exertion, sometimes under extreme weather conditions

  • Consistent client interactions and follow-ups
  • Perform well site visits on equipment and crews regularly
  • Promote and enforce all company policies and procedures
  • Design and implement an employee progression plan
  • Schedule and attend employee meetings
  • Oversee and manage the district operations
  • Responsible for managing headcount based on job activity
