District Manager - Wireless

About The Position

Premium Retail Services' wireless program spans more than 1,300 retail locations across North America and is powered by a dedicated team of over 3,200 Wireless Sales Pros. Wireless is one of the fastest-moving categories in retail and this role puts you in charge of winning it across 10-15 retail store locations. You'll build, coach, and grow a team of Wireless Sales Pros and Leads who turn everyday store traffic into real results. Expect genuine ownership: your hiring, your coaching, and your time on the floor directly shape how your district performs. This is a leadership role that represents a significant step forward in scope, responsibility, and impact.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of multi-unit / multi-location leadership - managing several stores or a district at once. Single-store management experience alone is not a fit for this role.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 85% of the time across the district, including some evenings and weekends
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to build relationships with store leaders and field teams.

Nice To Haves

  • a proven wireless / telecom retail sales background.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Be a visible presence in the field, regularly visiting your stores, spotting what's working, and coaching your team in the moment
  • Develop your people; coach, train, and mentor them into skilled sellers who know the products and connect with every customer
  • Keep your stores fully staffed and ready to grow - own recruiting and hiring, and build a healthy talent pipeline with bench strength for what's next
  • Team up with Talent Acquisition and store managers to stay ahead of staffing needs, cut vacancies, and welcome new hires with onboarding that sets them up to succeed
  • Turn data into action; read the numbers with your team to uncover opportunities, work through obstacles, and sharpen execution across the district
  • Keep the operation running smoothly; scheduling, inventory, cash controls, and in-store merchandising
  • Build trusted relationships with store managers, and bring market insights and ideas back to senior leadership
  • Set the tone with a customer-first, collaborative mindset, making thoughtful, ethical choices and working side-by-side with your team
