About The Position

Asahi Beer USA is seeking a District Manager to grow its New York City business. This field-based role involves driving the availability, visibility, and velocity of Asahi Super Dry, Twisted Shotz, and Zeitaku Shibori across retail accounts in the NYC market. The ideal candidate will be energized by being in market, building relationships, and ensuring brands are accessible to consumers. This position requires strong collaboration with distributor partners to maximize impact and is suited for an ambitious individual looking to expand their scope over time. It is not a desk job, and the focus is on owning and managing a specific territory.

Requirements

  • A demonstrated background in brand and relationship development within a specific geographic territory
  • Experience working with distributor partners in a field sales role
  • Familiarity with on and off-premise retail in the beer, RTD, or beverage alcohol space
  • A self-starter who takes ownership of their territory and results
  • Ambition to grow — this role has room to expand for the right person
  • Someone who'd rather be in market than in a meeting
