About The Position

Sun Auto Tire & Service is a rapidly growing, top 10 independent tire dealer in the US with over 550 stores. We are seeking a District Manager for Automotive Service & Repair in Southern California to oversee retail repair shops within a region. The role involves hiring and training store managers, setting store goals, enforcing policies, ensuring quality, and increasing sales and profitability. The purpose of the company is to provide an extraordinary customer experience for vehicle after-market tires and repair services, from minor maintenance to extensive repairs, with a focus on dealership-quality service using superior tools and components performed by professional technicians.

Requirements

  • Retail management experience in the automotive aftermarket industry.
  • Auto repair shop management position or equivalent business experience in the automotive industry.
  • Previous experience in managing and coaching team members to success through effective communication.
  • Business development and strategy implementation knowledge.
  • Problem-solving using analytical, creative, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual plans with clearly defined goals.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in business operations.
  • Possess valid California driver’s license.
  • Ability to work a minimum of five days, Monday-Friday.

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or similar position.
