About The Position

The district events specialist is responsible for supporting the district manager in creating conditions for success within the district. The overall responsibility includes planning, coordinating, and executing both in-store and out of store events and promotions to drive client engagement, enhance the brand experience, and ultimately boost sales within their assigned district.

Comfortable using an intricate point of sales system.
A minimum of High school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of two years' retail or event experience required.

Responsibilities

Drives productivity of the events team through coaching and redirecting individuals during each event, achieving sales goals and KPI’s, supports strategies and processes that deliver top of the line results
Establishes effective relationships to build Lucchese brand loyalty and trust
Embodies the brand and the heritage that has made Lucchese the pinnacle brand in the West, upholds Lucchese expectations for quality event experiences for internal and external consumers
Holds event team and self-accountable to all Lucchese values and standards of performance, ensures compliance to all federal, provincial, state and Lucchese employment requirements

Events are a crucial part of driving community engagement and incremental business to the assigned stores within each district.
Plan dynamic and engaging events to drive new business and strengthen our community connection.
Conduct short and long-term planning and management for events and sales.
Trains, supervises, and works with event staff to plan, execute, and deliver successful events.
Leads event team to build long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives.
Responsible for managing and guiding the consumer experience through each event
Implement and execute Lucchese B.U.I.L.D. sales training to drive the culture of excellence, teamwork, high performance, conversion, and consumer engagement
Monitor consumer interactions utilizing our B.U.I.L.D. selling strategy, gather insights, and identify areas for improvement
Address team member performance and support their ongoing learning development by providing direct feedback and in-the-moment recognition, coaching, demonstrations, and hands-on experiences
Cross functionally identifies grassroots opportunities to develop location-specific events within the district to support overall sales growth and community engagement
Gather information about objectives, budget, and preferences
Secure food, drinks, decor, and entertainment
Create a schedule of activities for event team to follow during events
Communicate with vendors and suppliers
Manage the event budget and track event revenue
Handle any problems that arise during the event
Oversee events team, servers, bartenders, vendors, and entertainers
Monitor event inventory levels of all resources needed to offer the Lucchese experience
Attend weekly district conference calls
Participate in weekly touch bases with district manager
Connect and engage with clients authentically to build brand loyalty
Routinely gather and listen to feedback from leaders, associates, and customers- analyzing inputs, implementing solutions, and holding self-accountable
