The District Court Administrator serves as a key leader directing the activities of the judicial district. Working under the supervision and direction of the Chief Judge, this individual provides strategic leadership, direction, and oversight for court operations, facilities, and administrative functions that support the delivery of justice. The leader directs, coordinates, and supervises the work of court staff—either directly or through intermediate supervisors—to ensure the timely and accurate processing of all district court cases. The District Court Administrator fosters a collaborative and high-performing work environment and promotes operational excellence across the judicial district. As a trusted member of the court's leadership team, the District Court Administrator manages day-to-day court operations, implements policies and procedures, and ensures compliance with directives established by the Chief Judge, the Kansas Supreme Court, the State Judicial Administrator, and applicable laws. This position also performs additional duties as assigned to support the evolving needs of the court. Work is performed under the general direction of the Chief Judge and is evaluated through conferences, reports, and the successful achievement of organizational goals and operational outcomes.
