District Asset Protection (DAPL)- Dallas Metro/East Texas area-Travel
About The Position
CVS Health is seeking a District Asset Protection Leader (DAPL) to drive and support Asset Protection strategies, including initiatives focused on shrink, safety, and profit protection. The role provides assistance and training to Field, Front Store, and Pharmacy teams addressing Asset Protection and operational issues, and develops and supports an Asset Protection culture within an assigned area. The DAPL builds business relationships and works collaboratively to serve internal and external customers. The role analyzes information from reporting tools, identifies priorities, and provides timely, objective analysis of trends to operational field partners. In partnership with business teams, the DAPL identifies priorities, supports goal achievement, establishes accountability, and helps determine actions needed to produce results. The position enforces Asset Protection and shrink-control programs, follows up on plans and program execution, and communicates progress and corrective actions to field teams. This position supports East Texas, including Division 7, Region 36, and Districts 2, 20, and 22. It requires travel of up to 75% and overnight stays in East Texas.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in retail management.
- Knowledge of conducting legal and ethical investigations.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, including overnight stays in East Texas.
- Valid and current driver's license.
- Personal vehicle that the company deems reasonably reliable and that is appropriately insured.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
Nice To Haves
- LP Qualified (LPQ) or LP Certified (LPC) certification.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to build positive relationships at various organizational levels.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and provide and accept constructive criticism.
- Bachelor's degree.
Responsibilities

- Build strong business relationships and collaborate with teams to serve internal and external customers.
- Analyze reporting information to identify priorities and provide objective, accurate, and timely trend analysis to operational field partners.
- Align with business partners to identify priorities and achieve goals.
- Work with Field Operations teams to define accountability and identify actions needed to achieve desired results.
- Enforce Asset Protection and shrink-control programs to protect assets from internal and external theft and operational compliance issues.
- Follow up promptly to ensure plans and programs are used and executed.
- Communicate initiative progress to field teams and course-correct when appropriate.
