The Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) is seeking a District APRN 1 or 2 to perform advanced nursing functions and healthcare services in specialized areas. This position is primarily assigned to Family Planning and Women's Health Programs but may see patients in other programs/services. The role operates under a nurse protocol agreement with a delegating physician, conducting complete physicals, providing treatment, and counseling clients. The APRN may also prescribe medication in some cases. This is an unclassified, full-time position working 40 hours per week, based at the Paulding County Health Department in Dallas, Georgia, with travel required to Haralson and Polk County Health Departments as needed.
