About The Position

Lower Merion School District is hiring a District Administrative Secretary in its busy Student Services Department. This position will support administrators in the Student Services Department which is comprised of Health Services, Gifted Support, Testing, Counseling, Special Education and other student-focused areas. The preferred candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with District Administrators, professionals, contractors, and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will also have the following qualifications. Must be proficient in knowledge of Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook; Must successfully complete LMSD qualifying tests. Applicant must be able to work well in a team setting; Possess ability to set priorities and muti-task to complete projects on time. Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to use technology to perform job efficiently. Possess organizational competencies; strong accounting abilities, written and verbal communication skills; The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Act 34 and 151 clearances and FBI registration number required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate/Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Job related experience in public school districts is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with District Administrators, professionals, contractors, and other stakeholders.
