About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring a Distribution/Warehouse Order Picker for a warehouse in Twin Falls, Idaho. This is an approximately three-week temporary assignment. The role involves accurately picking and pulling products, checking items and quantities, preparing orders, and helping maintain organized stock and inventory. Some forklift work is involved, representing approximately 10% of the job. Training is provided. The position is a swing shift, Monday through Friday, from 4:45 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., with weekends off.

Requirements

Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Able to pass a background check.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to read and follow pick tickets, labels, item numbers, and written instructions.
Basic math and counting skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to use RF scanners or warehouse technology after training.
Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving throughout the shift.
Dependable and punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must follow safety, quality, and attendance standards.

Responsibilities

Pick and pull products accurately using order sheets, pick tickets, or customer orders.
Locate products using item numbers, bin locations, labels, or inventory systems.
Verify product numbers, quantities, descriptions, and condition before staging orders.
Use RF scanners, handheld devices, or warehouse management systems to track picked items.
Pack, label, scan, and stage orders for shipping or production as needed.
Move materials using pallet jacks, carts, order pickers, or other warehouse equipment.
Replenish stock locations and help keep inventory organized.
Perform basic inventory counts and report shortages, overages, or damaged products.
Perform forklift work as needed; approximately 10% of the job.
