About The Position

The Distribution Team Member I loads and unloads goods, determines loading procedures, stages orders, and checks products for loading accuracy. The role supports timely and accurate distribution operations while following company safety, quality, sanitation, and regulatory standards. Team members communicate with leadership and colleagues about safety, product levels, quality issues, and operational challenges, and may assist customers with will-call pickups.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks accurately and in a timely manner; notify management of damaged or suspect products.
• Complete loading and receiving tasks in compliance with PJFS safety and quality standards.
• Complete required daily distribution paperwork, such as receiving logs, load sheets, and damaged-product records.
• Operate fork trucks and other material-handling equipment safely and professionally.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation tasks according to the sanitation schedule, including cleaning trailers.
• Communicate with the Shift Leader about safety, product levels, quality issues, and day-to-day challenges.
• Coordinate with other department team members to ensure the correct products are picked and loaded.
• Assist customers with will-call pickups as required.
• Comply with PJFS safety, sanitation, and HACCP policies and procedures; applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, FDA, and DOL requirements; and Papa John's International, Inc. policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
