About The Position

The Distribution Team Lead oversees the order processing, picking, packaging, shipping, and receiving activities for the Public Safety division.

Requirements

• Ability to coordinate, plan, assign and QC the work of warehouse associates
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and maintaining inventories of garments
• Experience overseeing warehouse compliance for inventory management, cycle counting, product handling, and other services
• Ability to train distribution employees in processes and specific duties
• Skill in monitoring processes, performing time studies, and reporting concerns or suggestions
• Experience in development creation and writing SOPs and work instructions
• Ability to coordinate staffing to ensure adequate coverage
• Experience handling administrative functions for incoming calls or emails to resolve problems
• Ability to provide constructive and timely feedback to associates regarding performance and productivity
• Willingness to work on the floor in a distribution role as required
• Adherence to safe work procedures

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, assign and QC the work of warehouse associates engaged in the following duties: shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and maintaining inventories of garments
• Oversee warehouse compliance for inventory management, cycle counting, product handling, and other services as required
• Train distribution employees in processes and specific duties and serve as the first point of contact for questions and concerns
• Monitor processes while performing time studies and report any concerns or suggestions to the Management Team for improvements
• Assist in development creation and writing SOPs and work instructions
• Coordinate staffing ensuring adequate coverage throughout receiving shipping and inventory areas
• Handle all administrative functions of incoming calls or emails to resolve problems
• Provide constructive and timely feedback to associates regarding performance and productivity
• Work on the floor in a distribution role as required
• Follow safe work procedures
• Other duties as assigned
