The Large Power Systems Division in Lafayette, IN currently has an opening for a Distribution St orage Controller. In this role you will be responsible for material availability for Assembly consumption. One of the primary areas of focus for the Storage Controller will be ordering parts for the assembly lines and moving material to the assembly line via stand-up fork truck. The Storage Controller will also be responsible for parts labels, maintaining inventory accuracy, and computer system input of orders and interplant material movement. The Storage Controller is responsible for communicating any potential material shortages to procurement and assembly operations in order to avoid production impact to the business.

Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of stand-up fork truck experience.
• Must have good written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated, safety-conscious individual capable of working independently.
• Basic computer skills.
