About The Position

Under minimal supervision, the Records Specialist I is responsible for supporting daily operational activities through accurate record maintenance and work order processing for Streetlight Maintenance. This position assists with reviewing and updating tickets in Slots, as well as working with various Oncor systems. The role requires strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to learn multiple systems and processes while supporting team production and operational goals. This role will report on-site to our Downtown Dallas Corporate Office 3 plus days a week.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency with WaAM, Automated Construction Information System (ACIS), Advanced Enterprise Geographic Information System (AEGIS), and Financial Management System (FIM).
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and varying levels of experience.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work and multitask to complete assignments on time.
  • Ability to learn and navigate between various software programs and adapt to changing technologies.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • 1 or more years of related work experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Using MicroStation software, precisely add or update Work and Asset Management Transformation (WaAM) features to accurately reflect streetlight maintenance work.
  • Participate in and complete assigned technical and safety training, sometimes assisting in the training of others.
  • Investigate discrepancies to ensure all systems accurately reflect field infrastructure.
  • Promote best practices by continuously evaluating methods, techniques, and software used in the Records Specialist position.
  • Perform all work in accordance with Oncor’s Code of Conduct and Safety Manual.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
  • Perform all essential aspects and functions of the job, as well as any other specific job requirements.
