At Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, you will help develop and deliver factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure. You will work alongside project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists who blend real-world experience with digital innovation and AI to transform how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed. As Accenture continues to grow, career opportunities may be directed through various legal entities, with benefits varying by country and role. The work involves visiting work sites to collect information and assist with determining scope for designs of low to moderate complexity for additions and modifications to Company gas and/or electric facilities. This includes meeting with customers to identify specific design limitations and requests, preparing service orders, field memos, and light construction work orders with safe, reliable, and cost-effective designs that conform to Company policies, safety orders, and CPUC regulations. You will provide knowledge and experience with the interpretation and application of design and engineering principles, overhead, underground, distribution, CPUC Rules, gas and electric theory standard practices, and construction calculations. You will identify site-specific obstacles, relay this information to customers, and present design options for consideration. You will report and provide advice and recommendations regarding scope identification, customer communication, and regulations and standards. The work location is flexible, including a mix of remote work, onsite at a client, or in an Accenture office or center, with some in-person time for collaboration, learning, and building relationships.
