Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
Ability to follow all Safety, Health and Environmental guidelines, policies, rules and training
Basic math/reading comprehension aptitude
The ability to read and interpret a manifest, packing list and complex shipping codes
Basic computer skills
Ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

Accurately prepare, package, and process outbound shipments and inbound materials to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Scan products into the system.
Process pallets and boxes systemically.
Weigh and label items.
Assemble shipments according to company standards.
Break down inbound pallets and verify counts.
Update the system to resolve discrepancies.
Wrap pallets utilizing a wrap machine.
Apply proper labels and corner boards.
Move finished goods to the correct dock doors.
Process shipments via UPS and FedEx and load products into trailers.
Review quantity discrepancies and update the system as needed.
Ensure labels left by distribution attendants are assigned to the correct pallet.
Put corner boards on product when appropriate.
Move product to dock door when appropriate.
Hit hour-by-hour productivity goals and follow/maintain the hour-by-hour board.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring 5S is followed.
