About The Position

This role leads Safety Excellence, Operational Excellence, and Strategy for logistics by overseeing planning and execution of inventory, warehousing, and transportation, while building a zero-hurt culture and aligning with global and regional standards. It actively pursues continuous improvement and robust EHS leadership, ensuring regulatory compliance, emergency readiness, and risk mitigation. The role also guides budget stewardship, cost optimization, and procurement, and prioritizes stakeholder engagement and clear, timely communication across departments. A proven leader who cultivates growth through development plans, identifies high-potential talent, and fosters a collaborative environment that sustains high-quality audits, strong governance, and enduring operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience with managerial responsibility; deep expertise in logistics/distribution and market awareness.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, International Business/Trade, Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or another closely related engineering, business, or technical field.

  • Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP, NEBOSH/OSHA) related to logistics, safety, or quality management.
  • Global/Regional Exposure: Experience operating in or across multiple regions, with knowledge of international regulatory standards and cultural nuances.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Safety Excellence, Operational Excellence, and Strategy for logistics (inventory, warehousing, transportation); align strategic plans with global and regional objectives; foster a zero-hurt culture.
  • Oversee continuous improvement initiatives in logistics to meet customer demands and corporate guidelines; develop regional strategies aligned with broader company objectives.
  • Provide strong team leadership and development; ensure growth plans for all team members and identify high-potential employees for advancement.
  • Ensure comprehensive EHS leadership with full regulatory compliance; actively document and address safety shortcomings.
  • Drive Emergency Preparedness and Risk Mitigation; implement measures to minimize harm to people, environment, and property; oversee proper handling and storage of materials.
  • Support Quality and Audit Compliance; lead and participate in audits; build team capabilities to maintain high compliance with corporate standards.
  • Manage Budgets and Cost Control; implement cost-saving initiatives and oversee procurement to optimize spending and operational costs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication; maintain timely, transparent communication with all relevant departments on safety, security, and compliance changes.
