Distribution Manager

Resmed•Moreno Valley, CA

About The Position

As Distribution Manager, you will lead site-wide operations, helping team members deliver safe, consistent, high-quality service. You will guide our Area Managers, stay close to activity on the floor, and make timely operational decisions that keep people, inventory, and customer commitments on track. This is an opportunity to shape how the distribution center works as one connected operation. You will strengthen communication between shifts, standardize processes, improve inventory accountability, and build an environment where teams can perform efficiently without compromising safety or quality. Your leadership will also support greater consistency across ResMed distribution sites. The distribution center operates approximately from 6:00 a.m. to 11:15 p.m. Your start and end times may vary based on business needs, with availability for occasional after-hours escalations.

  • At least three years of supervisory or people-leadership experience.

  • Experience leading across multiple shifts or a comparably broad operational scope.
  • Working knowledge of federal and local OSHA requirements for warehouse, distribution, and shipping environments.
  • Experience using a warehouse management system to support inventory accuracy, traceability, and operational control.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to align teams with different schedules and operational priorities.
  • A customer-focused approach to building relationships and making decisions that protect service, quality, and delivery.
  • Availability to adjust working hours based on operational needs and respond to occasional after-hours escalations.

  • Translate daily, weekly, and monthly forecasts into practical labor plans that balance workloads, control costs, and meet customer commitments.
  • Align teams each day on staffing, priorities, and deadlines so both shifts operate as one coordinated distribution center.
  • Standardize operating methods and communication across shifts, enabling employees to work consistently without relearning different procedures.
  • Develop Area Managers and hourly teams through coaching, training, mentoring, and clear goals that strengthen performance and career growth.
  • Oversee the accurate receipt, inventory movement, packaging, and shipment of materials and finished goods so products reach customers on time and to specification.
  • Manage inventory controls and product traceability through WMS and Oracle, supporting material accountability, customer requirements, and quality standards.
  • Improve operational methods, policies, and procedures by removing non-value-added activity and creating more efficient ways of working.
  • Track departmental performance through accurate documentation and reporting, using results to identify risks and guide operational decisions.
  • Collaborate with site leaders, peer teams, field personnel, and other locations to resolve issues that affect employees, customers, or cross-functional operations.
  • Balance quality, delivery, workforce, and budget requirements while adapting quickly to changing operational needs.
