About The Position

Step into a pivotal leadership role as Distribution Manager at a large-scale, dynamic manufacturing organization. Here, you’ll have end-to-end responsibility for the distribution function, leading cross-functional teams across three state-of-the-art facilities. Your leadership will ensure peak operational performance, rigorous safety standards, and exceptional on-time delivery - directly impacting our customer experience and business success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (e.g., Industrial Engineering) or Significant relevant work experience (7–10 years) in lieu of degree
  • Professional Certifications (highly preferred Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt. APICS/ASCM Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD). OSHA safety certification (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour General Industry).
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills; able to solve complex operational hurdles in real-time.
  • Proven track record in Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Deep familiarity with OSHA regulations; VPP (Voluntary Protection Programs) experience is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee warehousing across three sites, managing the seamless flow of finished goods from production to final delivery.
  • Direct dedicated 3PL fleet services and manage external freight partnerships to optimize shipping costs and service levels.
  • Manage staffing schedules, develop impactful training programs, and implement Lean methodologies to streamline workflows.
  • Execute strategic plans to reduce costs, improve productivity, and maintain strict budget controls.
  • Foster a "safety-first" culture and drive accountability for a secure, OSHA-compliant work environment.
  • Maintain best practices for product handling and order accuracy; collaborate with Quality Assurance to resolve issues and enhance customer experience.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for inventory accuracy, shipping speed, and quality, driving corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse workforce in the warehousing and crating departments, with a focus on developing future leaders.
  • Promote a high-performance environment rooted in open communication, inclusivity, and continuous learning.
  • Champion new technologies and process improvements, proactively address barriers to ensure successful implementation and team buy-in.
