Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • 3 years of direct shipping experience required.
  • Experienced in SAP Data Entry - receiving, packing, inventory management, etc.
  • Must have basic computer skills and a good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and other MS Office programs; Adobe PDF.
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to function and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced operating environment is critical.
  • Must be able to interface and communicate effectively within the organization, with business units throughout the company, and with partners across the supply chain.
  • Good work and attendance record.
  • Physical requirements such as heavy lifting, bending and standing for long periods of time involved.
  • Must be able to qualify as a licensed forklift operator.

Nice To Haves

  • Carpentry experience preferred (building boxes & skids for export).

Responsibilities

  • Unloading, put away, picking, inventory management, packaging, and loading of product.
  • Ensure all trucks are properly unloaded and loaded, and that all safety procedures are followed during these processes.
  • Receiving PO’s in SAP, preparing loads for export, preparing packing lists in SAP, communicating with Account Managers and Project Managers.
  • Monitoring inventory related to customer orders to ensure the correct material is on hand.
  • Work closely with Sales and Project Management to communicate order lead times and resolve customer complaints.
  • Promote and support Culture of Zero Initiatives.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
