Distribution Group Leader - 1st Shift
About The Position
The Distribution Group Leader leads warehouse associates in functions such as shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, picking, and packing, and ensures the assigned function operates efficiently. The role may also perform picking, shipping, receiving, checking, loading and unloading, and/or putaway duties. The leader assigns work and distributes orders as needed to meet daily schedules and production goals, trains new employees, and guides warehouse associates. The position monitors equipment and processes, reports problems to a supervisor, follows standard operating and safety procedures, and keeps the work area safe, clean, and organized. Other related duties may be required. The schedule is 1st shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of logistics or distribution experience.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good record-keeping skills.
- Good listening skills.
- Accurate measurement capability.
- Ability to understand and speak basic English.
Responsibilities

- Provide direction to warehouse associates and distribute orders and assign work as needed to meet daily schedules and production goals.
- Train new employees and provide guidance to warehouse associates.
- Monitor equipment or processes and report problems to a supervisor.
- Follow standard operating and safety procedures.
- Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.
- Perform other related duties as required.
