About The Position

Sobieski Enterprises, Inc. is looking to hire a full-time Driver in the Newark, DE to deliver HVAC and plumbing material using a 26' Box Truck, (53' as needed). Requirements

Good driving record
Basic math skills required to manage inventory, (including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and a willingness to help load and unload trucks
Ability and willingness to be out in all kinds of weather
Ability to read and write English fluently
Ability to read maps and operate GPS systems
Happy to drive all day long

Nice To Haves

Commercial CDL license is preferred.
Distribution center experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Deliver HVAC and plumbing material using a 26' Box Truck, (53' as needed).
Deliver valuable equipment and building materials to job sites in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Drive building materials from the warehouses to job sites.
Bring new supplies, equipment, and unused materials to the warehouses.
Assist with loading and unloading the truck.
Maintain contact with the Logistics Coordinator to receive delivery or pick up directions.
Load against the run sheets and receipts for delivery or pick up.
Perform daily and weekly inspections of the truck as required by DOT and company policies.
Ensure that all fluids are properly filled.
Ensure that all vehicle instruments, devices, and mechanical operations are working properly.
Safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, and other equipment.
