About The Position

This position oversees the end-to-end coordination of freight shipments, ensuring operational excellence through accurate shipment processing, data management, and customer communication. The role also supports financial accuracy by managing billing, service provider costs, and credit processes while delivering exceptional customer service and meeting established performance standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful candidates must pass a background check.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed to support business requirements.
  • Ability to reliably report to the Carson, CA work location.
  • Basic mathematical skills and attention to numerical accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a professional office environment.

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and timely order processing, including data entry, inventory management, preparation of customer work orders, and distribution of required documentation to warehouse staff for receiving and shipping activities.
  • Coordinate container drayage and collaborate with service providers and other Expeditors facilities to ensure timely movement of freight and resolution of operational issues.
  • Monitor shipment activity, provide timely operational reporting, and communicate order status updates or exceptions to customers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, Operational Process Standards (OPS), customer requirements, and applicable government regulations.
