About The Position
Miller-Keystone Blood Center (MKBC) is seeking a part-time Distribution Courier in Bethlehem, PA, to support the MKBC Bethlehem location. This role involves vehicle operations and the transportation of blood products to hospital partners, contributing to the mission of saving lives by providing essential blood products to hospitals in PA and NJ. The anticipated hourly wage starts at $14.06/hr and is commensurate with experience. MKBC offers several benefits to part-time employees, including dental and vision benefits, PTO, discount tickets and plans, a retention bonus of up to $1000, and an Employee Assistance program.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 6 months experience delivery or as a prior courier preferred
- The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening) and customer service to interact with all levels of employees, hospital partners, and general public
- Strong work ethic including attendance, trust, flexibility, and reliability
- A passion to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities to meet the needs of the blood center
- A valid driving license and clear driving record are required
