About The Position

Miller-Keystone Blood Center (MKBC) is seeking a Part-time Bloodmobile Driver with CDL to join their team in Bethlehem, PA. MKBC's mission is to save lives daily by supplying blood products to hospitals across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. This role is crucial in facilitating successful blood drives within the community, ensuring a sufficient supply of blood donors for local hospitals.

Requirements

  • CDL A or B and DOT Medical card required
  • The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening) to engage donors and employees of all backgrounds.
  • Strong work ethic including attendance, trust, flexibility, and reliability.
  • A passion to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities to meet the needs of the blood center.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience driving a box truck or larger vehicle preferred.
  • Experience in Outlook, Microsoft office and with basic tablets and computers.

Responsibilities

  • Loading vehicles with necessary supplies, driving to blood drive locations, set up and assist with the blood drive, then pack up, return to the blood center and unload equipment.
  • Greeting and assisting donors, visitors, and clients in a friendly yet professional manner.
  • Providing accurate information, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and respectfully.
  • Completing vehicle and blood drive documentation in accordance with our company's standards.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned, including training, becoming familiar with new/updated SOP's, and assisting with special projects as needed.
