About The Position

The coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely data entry of shipment related information, as well as processing shipments, providing confirmation of shipments to customers, and receiving incoming shipments.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED required
Deliver quality products and services through adherence to company standards and operating procedures.
Must be able to stay on task, performing essential job duties, with an elevated level of accuracy.
Must be able to read, write, basic English communication.
Initiative-taker; Ability to make sound decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems when making decisions.
Ability to communicate both professionally and effectively with subordinates as well as all levels of management and cross-functional teams.
You must pass the forklift written test and driver test that is given by the company.
Basic math skills
Microsoft Office Suite fluent.

Nice To Haves

Previous work experience in a manufacturing warehouse and/or distribution environment.
Safely operate powered industrial equipment and follow all company safety Rules & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
Previous experience and/or knowledge of Blue Yonder.

Responsibilities

Complete all shipment transactions into Blue Yonder in a timely manner.
Use other associated programs as needed (IMI, Oracle, E2 Open, Google Docs).
Respond to carrier requests (via phone or electronically) for shipment tracking and/or tracing and communicate any delays to order originators.
Compile data for management analysis on an as needed basis (audits).
Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies via research in Blue Yonder.
Maintain files for shipping and receiving daily.
Prepare necessary backorder and/or other communications to internal and external customers on an as needed basis (order status, timing, etc.).
May perform kitting, labeling, or other duties prior to shipping products, as necessary.
Prepare necessary documents for shipping and receiving goods.
Ability to prioritize and organize workloads.
Initiative-taking and dependable; works well with others or individually on tasks.
Other duties as defined by leadership.
Demonstrate and promote a solution-based positive attitude in meeting goals and objectives.
Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained with an eye for detail.
Promote and ensure a safe work environment.
Ability to schedule shipments.
