About The Position

As a Distribution Coordinator at MKS Inc., you will partner with internal and external customers to provide world class distribution center centric support. You will be responsible for performing the physical or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. This includes unpacking and checking goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining records of received goods, and rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary. You will also prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped, post weights and shipping charges, and prepare goods for final shipment. Additionally, you will examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines, and may prepare kitting packages for assembly production and customers. This role operates in a warehousing environment and requires dedication to safety to mitigate hazards including handling mechanical and electrical hardware, high voltage, gas, water, and heat. Requirements

  • Experience in shipping, receiving and stores, and reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills
  • Completion of high school, vocational training or equivalent is preferred
  • 1+ years of related experience
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination
  • Frequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below, at, and above shoulder level
  • Regularly requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below, at and above shoulder level
  • Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
  • Constantly operates a computer and other productivity machinery
