About The Position

The Distribution Center Team Member performs warehouse functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving warehouse stock. The role supports accurate and timely order fulfillment in a fast-paced distribution center and requires attention to safety, accuracy, attendance, and teamwork. Team members are expected to adapt to changing priorities, follow through on assigned responsibilities, and embrace Speedway Motors’ core values.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency.
Ability to follow established Speedway Motors and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Three months of prior work experience.
Experience using forklifts.

Responsibilities

Assist with shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area.
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to organizational standards.
Open bales, crates, and other containers.
Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock-location orders, printing requests, and recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed using a computer.
Assist with counting physical inventory.
Prepare parcels for mailing.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat; sweep, dust, and mop.
Organize the warehouse and work area for orderliness.
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
Follow established Speedway Motors and OSHA safety policies and procedures, as well as company policies and safety protocols.
Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance.
Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through on commitments.
