About The Position

This position is accountable to manage the maintenance operations of assigned terminal for the purpose of maximizing vehicle uptime, controlling costs, improving shop efficiency, and workforce retention.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience managing a distribution facility.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Successful experience utilizing excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to communicate with tact, diplomacy, influence and with authority when appropriate.
Proven ability to motivate, develop and lead employees at all levels, and direct reports.
Promotes and reinforces safety and security awareness and compliance among all colleagues.
Ability to deliver exceptional service through positive engagement and patience.
Ability to work in a team environment to continuously improve results.
High School Diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding terminal facility preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise all floor activity, including but not limited to product receipt, product put-away, product pick for OB shipment, loading for outbound, inventory integrity and cycle counting activities, employee safety, employee training.
Plans, organizes, schedules, forecasts, and coordinates work to meet production schedules and operational goals.
Demonstrates personal concern for maintaining a safe environment for themselves and others.
Actively promotes the proper use of equipment and adherence to processes.
Ensure all employees are cross-trained on systems and equipment to always avoid disruption of DCM and DCH operations, including customer-specific systems.
Complete daily reports and correspondence as required for DCM and DCH.
Ensure warehouse is clean and in food grade condition.
Ensure steps are taken to allow for security of building, product, and property.
Supervises others and responsible for being results oriented, collaborative, delegate effectively and strive for harmony, ensuring team effectiveness.
Accountable for hiring and for continued development of direct reports.
Provides current, direct, complete, and "actionable" positive and corrective feedback to others.
Reduce workforce turnover by improving employee relations.
Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
