About The Position

The Distribution Center Supervisor oversees the assigned Distribution Center by systematically preparing items to be transferred, receiving in deliveries, and maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy. Requirements

• 2 years’ experience working with shipping and receiving.
• Ability to operate a forklift required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the distribution center, ensuring the efficient and timely receipt, storage, and shipment of products.
• Develop, implement, and monitor operational strategies to optimize inventory flow, reduce lead times, and meet business goals.
• Continuously assess and improve operational processes to ensure cost-effective, accurate, and on-time distribution services.
• Responsible for systematically preparing items to be transferred and received in deliveries and for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy at the warehouses.
• Make decisions regarding reordering, stock rotation, and proper storage methods to optimize space utilization and minimize operational disruptions.
• Communicate promptly with internal logistics team, 3rd party logistics, Inventory team, Revenue Efficiency team, Ordering/Purchasing teams, Warehouse teams, or Branch/ Division leadership and take prompt action on necessary tasks, typically pertaining to transfers of stock material to support and maintain appropriate level of business at each location.
