A maintenance technician III is responsible for the installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining of powered equipment, facility, and grounds to provide a safe and productive work environment for all team members, vendors, and visitors. This role involves providing prompt and professional service to ensure distribution center assets are maintained and a safe working environment is procured. The technician will capture all associated time and parts into the CMMS program for record-keeping integrity. They will deliver a broad variety of preventative and corrective repair services to all assets of the facility, including conveyor systems, forklifts, various power equipment, industrial batteries, dock equipment, racking systems, lighting, and HVAC. The technician will observe machine systems for proper and safe operation, perform service measures according to vendor procedures and safety protocols, and prioritize duties based on impact and business need. Additionally, they will share experience to develop the team and meet compliance with lock out/tag out (LOTO) and Arc Flash guidelines. Other general maintenance tasks may be assigned.
