About The Position
Central Transport is one of the nation's largest Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) carriers, experiencing significant growth. As we continue to expand our network, we are seeking quality mechanics to help maintain our fleet of over 2,200 tractors, 8,500 trailers, and 1,700 forklifts across the United States and Canada. This position is for a Forklift Service Technician responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance on our fleet of electric forklifts.
Requirements
- 1 year of Forklift Mechanic experience
- Basic set of tools
Nice To Haves
- ASE certification preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- All forklift repairs needed
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues
- Component rebuild and hydraulic repair
- Perform routine maintenance such as checking batteries, lubricating equipment, and machinery
- Tire changes
- Brakes
- Bolt-on components
