About The Position
Ellsworth Adhesives is a global, industry-leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment. This role, reporting into the Specialty Chemical Distribution (SCD) Division in Germantown, WI, involves performing core Distribution Center responsibilities along with advanced warehousing and order processing services with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- 1+ years of related industrial experience and/or training
- High school diploma or equivalency (GED, HSED)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experienced in using MS Office programs and Warehouse software
- Ability to understand, comprehend, and execute highly complex processes and systems
- Communicate with internal and external customers and partners
Nice To Haves
- Forklift Certified
- Stand-up forklift is highly preferred.
- IATA (International Air Transport Association) strongly preferred
- DOT Hazardous Materials preferred
- Flexible to adapt to different parts of a distribution center is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Executes Distribution Center core functions of Receiving, Picking, Shipping & Documentation.
- Provides general support activities to the operation such as stocking product, conducting cycle counts, operating power equipment and product labeling.
