About The Position

Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC (Coke Florida) is a family-owned independent Coca-Cola bottler that is the third largest privately-held and the sixth largest independent Coca-Cola bottler in the United States. Coke Florida is looking for a Distribution Center Manager based out of our Jacksonville location. Working Monday-Friday with occasional nights/weekends. The Distribution Center Manager serves as the operational leader for the facility, driving performance in safety, inventory accuracy, productivity, customer service, and financial results. This position partners closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Transportation, and other cross-functional teams to ensure operational readiness and successful execution of market demands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive supply chain, warehouse, distribution, or operations management experience.
  • Proven experience leading large teams in a fast-paced distribution environment.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence, motivate, and develop teams.
  • Experience managing labor, operational budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated success driving safety, productivity, service, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to operate effectively with limited supervision and high levels of accountability.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within beverage, food, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or related distribution environments.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), labor management tools, and operational reporting systems.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, APICS, CSCMP, or other operational excellence certifications.
  • Experience supporting warehouse expansions, network optimization efforts, or operational transformations.

Responsibilities

  • Direct, control, and coordinate all day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations.
  • Lead the execution of operational plans to achieve service, productivity, quality, and financial objectives.
  • Monitor and manage key operational metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination across all functional areas within the distribution center.
  • Partner with Transportation leadership to ensure timely and accurate customer delivery execution.
  • Oversee receiving, storage, replenishment, order selection, loading, and shipping activities.
  • Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through cycle counting, reconciliation processes, and inventory controls.
  • Ensure proper product rotation, storage practices, and inventory management procedures.
  • Optimize warehouse layout, slotting, and storage utilization to improve productivity and capacity.
  • Minimize product loss, damages, and shrink through effective operational controls and execution.
  • Support inventory planning processes to ensure product availability while controlling inventory levels.
  • Lead labor planning and workforce scheduling to maximize efficiency and control operating costs.
  • Drive improvements in warehouse productivity, order fulfillment, loading efficiency, and inventory performance.
  • Establish and manage performance metrics including: Cases Per Man Hour (CPMH), Warehouse Productivity, Inventory Accuracy, Order Fill Rate, Damage and Shrink Performance, Service Levels, Operating Cost Performance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, best practices, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Champion a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead facility safety programs and drive accountability for safe work practices.
  • Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, food safety, environmental, and company standards.
  • Protect company assets through proper security and loss prevention practices.
  • Manage labor and operating expenses within approved budgets.
  • Assist in the development, analysis, and execution of annual operating budgets and forecasts.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining service expectations.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing leaders and frontline associates.
  • Build organizational capability through succession planning and leadership development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and development planning discussions to support employee growth.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Distribution Operations and Sales leadership.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Supply Chain partners on volume forecasting, promotions, and customer requirements.
  • Ensure operational readiness to support seasonal peaks, market growth, and customer initiatives.
  • Maintain strong cross-functional relationships to drive customer satisfaction and operational success.
  • Support company initiatives, operational transformations, and network optimization efforts.
  • Lead implementation of new processes, technologies, and operational improvement programs.
  • Represent the company professionally with customers, suppliers, community leaders, and government officials when appropriate.
  • Drive a culture focused on safety, service, productivity, inventory excellence, and associate engagement.
