This role will be responsible for assisting the loader with Rail Car set-up (pre-load). This includes but is not limited to: Opening car doors, conducting initial clearing/cleaning of dunnage and various paraphernalia out of car, setting up car for loader (placing serviceable dunnage within and directly outside of the rail car, for loader).

Requirements

Must be located in Bradenton, FL, surrounding area, or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
Willingness to be onsite at the manufacturing facility on a full-time basis.
Must be able to perform physical tasks for the duration of the shift, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting/moving items weighing 50 pounds or more.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
Must have a valid Forklift driver license.
Job will require overtime, which could include more than 40 hours per week, 7 days a week and up to 12-hour days.
Must be able to use WMS.
Ability to operate complex machinery in the achievement of Sanitation goals.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
Must be able to work with computer software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Dashpad.

Responsibilities

Assisting the loader with Rail Car set-up (pre-load), including opening car doors, clearing/cleaning dunnage and paraphernalia, and setting up the car with serviceable dunnage.
Assisting with Rail Car Dunnage preparation, separation (serviceable from non-serviceable), organization, disposal, inventory checks, and staging.
Assisting loaders with shrouding pallets.
Track and dock sanitation, including cleaning & sorting equipment, lumber, and rail bed.
Maintaining all work areas to 5S standards.
Setting temperature for refer units.
Participating in total production manufacturing (TPM) teams (AM, PM, FI, OCCI, EM, HSE).
Participating in the continuous improvement process (e.g., Why-Why & 7-step process) to eliminate losses or waste, including safety issues.
Assisting in correcting equipment problems quickly and on time.
Learning and using multi-computer skills.
Performing other duties as assigned by supervisory, management, and union representatives.
