About The Position

Supervises employees engaged in a combination of shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, stacking, picking, packing and/or palletizing finished products, parts and accessories ensuring a maintained stock base.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Warehouse operations to include shipping and receiving
  • Computer operations to include email and warehouse software.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English at a level sufficient to perform job duties
  • Ability to become a trainer
  • Mathematical and reasoning skills
  • Excellent communication skills and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Supervises employees within area of control.
  • Train all personnel on work instructions and job aids.
  • Follows FIFO policy of components and materials and/or inventory.
  • Unloads and loads shipments and receives manufactured and purchased components.
  • Prepares shipments to customers both internal and external.
  • Coordinates activities of employees and truck drivers to meet goals.
  • Completes power industrial truck inspections (PIT).
  • Conducts inventory audits for accuracy.
  • Communicate to supervisor all accuracy issues and all safety concerns.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Compiles data for internal metrics.
  • Follow Corporate and Departmental Environmental Quality and Safety Programs, including: the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as ear plugs, safety glasses, badges, steel toe shoes as applicable.
  • Follow company policies, procedures and guidelines including the company handbook.
  • Offer plant/companywide continuous improvement suggestions.
